History: History is every event that occurs in the past

That includes what will happen today

Today, we march

We march with purpose

We march for our rights

We march to show that we are strong

We march to show how powerful we are

We march to stand up for those who can’t

We march to show unity in strength

We march to send a message to those above us

Everyday, women deal with disparities no one should have to deal with

Assault, pay gaps, stereotypes, underestimation

All things women in common deal with

Today, we fight to go against that

To show that we should be treated as equals, not inferiors

And we maintain peace and love to show how strong we are

Now that… is history in the making
